  • Abstract: Globalization drives information transitions, necessitating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for efficient coordination in higher educational institutes. Deployment is a costly and intricate process that requires specific success factors. Previous research focused on management, overlooking user perspectives. The study uses a quantitative methodology to gather data from 300 employees in private Higher Education Institutions, focusing on user perspectives rather than management. Non-probability convenience sampling was employed to obtain cross-sectional data. The successful implementation of an ERP system requires top management endorsement, functional assistance, a reliable partner, comprehensive training, active user engagement, a proficient ERP team, robust MIS department, meticulous planning, organizational support, effective change management, well established IT infrastructure, superior ERP software selection, and a deep understanding of the ERP concept. Critical success factors significantly impact ERP implementation success in developing countries. Organizations should consider financial, employee, application, technical, and vendor capabilities when selecting an ERP system, providing valuable insights for policymakers.

  • Abstract: This study explores the vital variables impacting creative effectiveness in the ever-changing communication industry. We concentrate on how task engagement, creative climate, and authentic leadership interact and affect innovative performance. It is anticipated that genuine leadership creates an atmosphere at work that inspires employees to give their best at work. Consequently, this increased engagement will result in better inventive performance. Employee data from telecommunication sector was gathered to investigate these links. Descriptive statistics were analyzed using SPSS software and structural equation modelling was made easier with AMOS. The expected results seek to shed light on how employee engagement and leadership styles can be strategically utilized to foster an innovative culture in the telecom sector—a business that is notorious for its persistent need for adaptability. We argue that task engagement and employee invention are positively correlated and that this correlation is amplified when an organization fosters creativity. In addition to providing insightful information about the role that real leadership plays in encouraging employee creativity, this study gives telecom companies a tactical framework for developing a workforce full of innovative problem-solvers. Businesses in the telecommunication industry can enable their staff to become the engine of ongoing innovation by providing an atmosphere that encourages openness, self-awareness, shared values, and a positive, creative work environment.

  • Abstract: The research aimed to explore the influence of abusive supervision on knowledge hiding, considering the concept of overall justice within the framework of social exchange theory. Additionally, employing a moderated mediation model, we investigated the role of gender as a moderator in the connection between abusive supervision and knowledge hiding mediated by overall justice, grounded in social role theory. The data was collected from the participants through likert questionnaire. Smart-PLS software was employed to conduct data analysis. The results, based on a sample of 351 participants from private sector universities in Pakistan, revealed that abusive supervision negatively impacts overall justice. However, the effects of overall justice on knowledge hiding and its mediation between abusive supervision and knowledge hiding were not statistically significant. Nevertheless, abusive supervision's impact on knowledge hiding via overall justice was significant among males but not females. This research contributes valuable insights to the understanding of how individuals of different genders respond to abusive supervision in their pursuit of fairness, thus enriching the literature on knowledge hiding.

  • Abstract:   The results of this study demonstrated the complex relationship that exists between project quality, cost, stakeholder management maturity, and the success of construction projects in Pakistan. The building business was defined by a variety of obstacles and dynamic socio-economic issues, which made for an engaging background for that investigation. This study produced the conceptual framework that included the interaction between these important variables and integrated the theories of project management. Surveys were used to collect empirical data, and the research's theoretical implications helped to shape the conversation around project management. On the other hand, the research's practical consequences provided project managers with useful advice. Nevertheless, there were certain limitations to this study, such as the cross-sectional design and possible biases in the self-reported data. Even with certain limitations, the results open up new avenues for future investigation. For example, recommending the need for long-term research and the creation of useful instruments to improve project management techniques in Pakistan's construction sector. A sample size of 203 professionals working on projects in Pakistan's construction industry were chosen for the study. A key factor in project performance is the maturity of project management.

  • Abstract: This study examined how emotional competencies (EC) and subjective norms (SN) affect entrepreneurial intentions (EI) among undergraduate business students in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. An enhanced Theory of Planned Behavior was used to analyze EC's direct and indirect effects on EI through the antecedents of cognitive variables. The survey collected primary data from 351 undergraduate business students at ten public sector management science colleges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Structural equation modeling (SEM) through SmartPLS was used to examine the mediating role of self-efficacy and entrepreneurial attitude. The findings indicated that EC strongly and significantly influenced EI and its cognitive variables, including entrepreneurial attitude (EA) and self-efficacy. However, the results did not show a direct relationship between higher EC and stronger entrepreneurial intention, suggesting that emotional competencies may not necessarily increase EI. The study implies that individuals with higher EC are more likely to become entrepreneurs because their cognitive abilities, which are linked to emotional competencies, are better. Entrepreneurship education programs should include EC focused material and methodology to develop undergraduate business students' entrepreneurial intentions and behaviors. According to the study, academics and policymakers should prioritize cognitive and emotional competencies to foster entrepreneurship and economic growth in the country.

  • Abstract: High-caliber leaders can work under pressure, respond to changing circumstances, and bounce back from failures. This study compared executive leaders' stress-coping abilities and compared them to their coworkers' perceptions of each leader. Multiple case study design was used. The study included seven Vice-Chancellors and five coworkers from each Selected Public Sector university as participants. Self-assessed Inventory of de Varies (2005) and Observation sheet were used as data collection tools. Friedman’s test and paired sampling t-test were used to compare self-assessed and observed perspectives. There was no significant difference in self-assessed views of university executive leaders about stress resilience but they agreed on getting stressed due to heavy workload and health problems of one or more close family members. At the same time, there were disparities among self-assessed opinions of leaders and observed views of their respective co-workers except in two cases, there were similarities among the views of the Vice-chancellor and their co-workers.

  • Abstract: This paper investigated women's participation in the economy, women's contribution to GDP and entrepreneurship in Pakistan. While female labor force participation rate has increased to 22% (fuels, half of the global average) despite of several measures. Even though the single contributor of India's GDP is women at 20%, who are active in both Agriculture as well as in providing services in the urban areas (Education and Healthcare), it still needs to be recognized properly. Principal barriers are socio-cultural factors, lack of literacy, poverty, and discrimination at workplace. The research concludes the importance of inclusive and gender-specific forward- looking policies that could increase women economic participation which in turn can parallel to significant rise in GDP of Pakistan and enhance the income level of households as well. The updated data and insights are expected to inform policymakers and development practitioners on effective strategies to empower women economically, thereby fostering inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Pakistan.
